📝 Ingredients:

  • 5 Italian sausages
  • 2 bell peppers (red + green), sliced 🌶️
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup tomato sauce 🍅
  • ½ cup chicken broth (optional)
  • Salt & black pepper
  • 1 tsp oregano or thyme
  • Chili flakes (optional, for heat)

👨‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Cook the sausages:
    • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
    • Add sausages and cook until browned on all sides (about 8–10 minutes).
    • Remove and set aside.
  2. Cook the vegetables:
    • In the same pan, add onion and garlic. Cook until soft.
    • Add sliced peppers and cook until tender.
  3. Add sauce:
    • Pour in tomato sauce and chicken broth.
    • Season with salt, pepper, and oregano.
  4. Combine:
    • Return sausages to the pan.
    • Cover and simmer for 10–15 minutes until fully cooked.

  • In a sandwich or hoagie roll 🌭
