
📝 Ingredients:
- 5 Italian sausages
- 2 bell peppers (red + green), sliced 🌶️
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup tomato sauce 🍅
- ½ cup chicken broth (optional)
- Salt & black pepper
- 1 tsp oregano or thyme
- Chili flakes (optional, for heat)
👨🍳 Instructions:
- Cook the sausages:
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add sausages and cook until browned on all sides (about 8–10 minutes).
- Remove and set aside.
- Cook the vegetables:
- In the same pan, add onion and garlic. Cook until soft.
- Add sliced peppers and cook until tender.
- Add sauce:
- Pour in tomato sauce and chicken broth.
- Season with salt, pepper, and oregano.
- Combine:
- Return sausages to the pan.
- Cover and simmer for 10–15 minutes until fully cooked.
