Philly Cheesesteak Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F / 190°C.
  2. Cook ground beef in a skillet until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add bell pepper, onion, and mushrooms; cook until softened.
  4. Stir in cream cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until melted.
  5. Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish.
  6. In a bowl, whisk eggs and heavy cream, then pour over the beef mixture.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  8. Bake 20–25 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
