Ginger & Clove Drink Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 medium fresh ginger root
  • 8–10 whole cloves
  • 1 liter water
  • 1–2 tbsp honey (optional)
  • Juice of ½ lemon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and slice or grate the ginger.
  2. Put the water, ginger, and cloves in a pot.
  3. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10–15 minutes.
  4. Strain into a cup.
  5. Add honey and lemon if you like.
  6. Drink warm, 1–2 cups per day.
