
Ingredients
- 1 medium fresh ginger root
- 8–10 whole cloves
- 1 liter water
- 1–2 tbsp honey (optional)
- Juice of ½ lemon (optional)
Instructions
- Wash and slice or grate the ginger.
- Put the water, ginger, and cloves in a pot.
- Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10–15 minutes.
- Strain into a cup.
- Add honey and lemon if you like.
- Drink warm, 1–2 cups per day.
