Crispy Salmon Patties

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked salmon (or canned salmon, drained)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs or crushed crackers
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 2–3 tbsp oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl mix salmon, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Form the mixture into small patties.
  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Cook patties 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
  5. Remove and serve warm.
