Creamy Lemon Bars

Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ cup lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F / 175°C.
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and press into a baking pan to form the crust.
  3. Bake crust 10 minutes, then let cool slightly.
  4. Beat cream cheese until smooth.
  5. Add condensed milk, lemon juice, and lemon zest; mix until creamy.
  6. Pour mixture over the crust and spread evenly.
  7. Bake 15 minutes until set.
  8. Cool completely, refrigerate 2 hours, then cut into bars.
