🍰 Vanilla Cake (Soft & Moist)

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup oil (or 1 cup softened butter)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180Β°C. Grease and line your cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat eggs and sugar until light.
  4. Add oil (or butter), milk, and vanilla. Mix well.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
  6. Pour into pan and bake 30–40 minutes.
  7. Let cool before slicing or frosting.

Tips for extra softness:

  • Don’t overmix the batter
  • Use room temperature ingredients
  • Add 2 tbsp yogurt for extra moisture

Optional Frosting:

  • Mix butter + powdered sugar + vanilla + a little milk for a quick vanilla buttercream
