Ham and Cheese Puff Pastry Squares

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 6–8 slices ham
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella or Swiss cheese
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F / 190°C.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a baking sheet.
  3. Spread mustard lightly (optional).
  4. Layer ham and cheese over half the pastry.
  5. Fold the pastry over and press edges to seal.
  6. Brush the top with beaten egg.
  7. Cut into squares.
  8. Bake 20–25 minutes until golden and crispy.
