
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup oil (or melted butter)
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 180°C and line a muffin tray.
- In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients—mix gently (don’t overmix).
- Fold in chocolate chips if using.
- Fill muffin cups about 3/4 full.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Tips:
- Don’t overmix → keeps muffins soft
- Add a few chocolate chips on top before baking for a bakery look
- For extra moist muffins, add 2 tbsp yogurt
