
Ingredients
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 2 ripe bananas (the sweeter, the better)
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk (or almond milk)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon (optional, but recommended)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
- Optional add-ins: raisins, chopped apples, nuts, dark chocolate chips
🍰 Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease or line a baking pan.
- In a blender, blend oats until they become a coarse flour (or leave them whole for texture).
- In a bowl, mash the bananas well.
- Add eggs, milk, vanilla, and mix.
- Stir in oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- Mix until you get a smooth batter. Add any optional ingredients.
- Pour into the pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25–35 minutes until golden and firm in the center.
- Let it cool before slicing.
🍯 Tips
- Very ripe bananas = natural sweetness (no sugar needed).
- Add grated apple for extra moisture.
- Best texture after cooling completely.
