
Ingredients (makes 8 pancakes):
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 3 ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 ¼ cups milk
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp melted butter (plus extra for cooking)
Optional toppings: Butter, maple syrup, berries, chocolate chips
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Mix Dry Ingredients
In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
2️⃣ Mix Wet Ingredients
In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, and melted butter.
3️⃣ Combine
Pour wet ingredients into dry. Stir gently until just combined — lumps are okay!
4️⃣ Cook
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and brush lightly with butter.
Pour ¼ cup batter per pancake. Cook 2–3 minutes until bubbles form on top, then flip and cook another 2 minutes until golden.
5️⃣ Serve
Stack, add butter and syrup, and enjoy immediately!
