
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups cooked egg noodles or pasta
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (14 oz) can diced tomatoes, drained
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp dried oregano (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook the beef
In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with onion until browned. Add garlic and cook for another minute. Drain excess fat. - Prepare the mixture
In a large bowl combine cooked pasta, beef mixture, cream of mushroom soup, diced tomatoes, sour cream, salt, pepper, paprika, and half of the cheese. - Assemble the casserole
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. - Add cheese topping
Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top. - Bake
Bake for 25–30 minutes, until the casserole is hot and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
