  • 1 cup butter (softened)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 2 cups Rice Krispies cereal

  1. Preheat oven to 180Β°C (350Β°F).
  2. Cream butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  4. Stir in vanilla extract.
  5. In another bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  7. Fold in chocolate chips and Rice Krispies gently (don’t crush them too much).
  8. Scoop dough onto a lined baking tray.
  9. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are golden.
  10. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
