🧾 Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice (cold, day-old is best!)
  • 2–3 eggs
  • 2 tbsp oil (vegetable or sesame)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ½ cup peas
  • ½ cup diced carrots
  • 2–3 green onions (chopped)
  • 2–3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil (for flavor)
  • Salt & pepper to taste

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Cook the eggs
    • Heat a little oil in a pan
    • Scramble eggs, then remove and set aside
  2. Sauté veggies
    • In the same pan, add oil and garlic
    • Add carrots and peas, cook for 2–3 minutes
  3. Add rice
    • Break up cold rice and add to the pan
    • Stir-fry for a few minutes until heated through
  4. Season
    • Add soy sauce, salt, and pepper
    • Mix well so all rice is coated
  5. Combine everything
    • Add scrambled eggs back in
    • Toss in green onions and drizzle sesame oil
  6. Serve hot 🍽️

  • Use cold rice (prevents mushy texture)
  • Cook on high heat for that authentic flavor 🔥
  • Don’t overmix—let it slightly crisp
