
🧾 Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked rice (cold, day-old is best!)
- 2–3 eggs
- 2 tbsp oil (vegetable or sesame)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- ½ cup peas
- ½ cup diced carrots
- 2–3 green onions (chopped)
- 2–3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil (for flavor)
- Salt & pepper to taste
👩🍳 Instructions
- Cook the eggs
- Heat a little oil in a pan
- Scramble eggs, then remove and set aside
- Sauté veggies
- In the same pan, add oil and garlic
- Add carrots and peas, cook for 2–3 minutes
- Add rice
- Break up cold rice and add to the pan
- Stir-fry for a few minutes until heated through
- Season
- Add soy sauce, salt, and pepper
- Mix well so all rice is coated
- Combine everything
- Add scrambled eggs back in
- Toss in green onions and drizzle sesame oil
- Serve hot 🍽️
