Brownie base:
- 1 box brownie mix (plus eggs, oil, water as directed)
Cheesecake layer:
- 16 oz (450 g) cream cheese, softened
- ¾ cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup sour cream
Topping:
- 1 cup hot fudge sauce
- Whipped cream
- Maraschino cherries
- Chocolate chips or sprinkles
👩🍳 Instructions
- Prepare brownie base
- Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
- Mix and bake brownie batter in a greased springform pan for 15–20 minutes (slightly underbaked).
- Let cool slightly.
- Make cheesecake layer
- Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla and sour cream. Mix until creamy.
- Bake cheesecake
- Pour cheesecake mixture over the brownie base.
- Bake 40–45 minutes until center is set but slightly jiggly.
- Cool & chill
- Let cool at room temperature, then refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Add toppings
- Warm the hot fudge slightly and pour over the cheesecake.
- Top with whipped cream and finish with classic Maraschino cherries and sprinkles.
