🧾 Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup vegetable oil (or any neutral oil)
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup white sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Mix wet ingredients: In another bowl, combine oil, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth. Add egg and vanilla, mix well.
  4. Combine: Gradually add dry ingredients into the wet mixture until a soft dough forms.
  5. Add chocolate chips and mix gently.
  6. Scoop dough onto the baking sheet (about 2 tablespoons per cookie).
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  8. Let them cool for a few minutes before serving.

💡 Tips:

  • For extra softness, don’t overbake!
  • Chill the dough for 20 minutes if you want thicker cookies.
  • You can swap oil with melted coconut oil for a slight flavor twist.
