- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- Β½ cup cornstarch (for extra crispiness)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Β½ tsp onion powder
- Β½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
- 1 cup buttermilk (or milk + 1 tbsp lemon juice)
- Oil for frying

1οΈβ£ Prepare the Wings
Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
2οΈβ£ Marinate
Place the wings in a bowl with buttermilk. Let them soak for 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).
3οΈβ£ Make the Coating
In another bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne.
4οΈβ£ Coat the Wings
Remove wings from buttermilk and dredge them in the flour mixture. Press the coating well so it sticks.
5οΈβ£ Heat the Oil
Heat oil in a deep pan to 175Β°C / 350Β°F.
6οΈβ£ Fry
Fry the wings in batches for 8β10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
7οΈβ£ Drain & Serve
Place on paper towels to remove extra oil.
