🍒🍍 Cherry Pineapple Dump Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling
  • 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted (or thinly sliced)
  • ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Add the fruit
    Spread the cherry pie filling evenly in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
    Pour the crushed pineapple with its juice over the cherries and spread gently.
  3. Add cake mix
    Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the fruit. Do not mix.
  4. Add butter
    Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix (or place thin slices across the top). Sprinkle nuts if using.
  5. Bake
    Bake for 40–45 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbly.
  6. Serve
    Let cool slightly and serve warm.
