🍎 Apple Custard Cake (Melts in Your Mouth)

Ingredients

  • 3 apples, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup milk (a glass)
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 or 9×9 baking pan.
  2. Prepare the apples
    Peel and slice the apples thinly. Set aside.
  3. Mix eggs and sugar
    In a bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until light and slightly fluffy.
  4. Add liquids
    Mix in milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
  5. Add dry ingredients
    Stir in flour and baking powder until smooth.
  6. Add apples
    Fold the sliced apples into the batter and pour everything into the prepared pan.
  7. Bake
    Bake for 40–45 minutes until golden and set.
  8. Serve
    Let cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
