For the cake:
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup crushed pineapple (with juice)

For the filling/frosting:
- 2 cups whipped cream (or whipped topping)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 200 g cream cheese (softened)

1. Bake the cake:
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease two round cake pans.
- Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs, pineapple (with juice), oil, milk, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until smooth.
- Divide batter between pans.
- Bake 25–30 minutes until golden and set.
- Let cool completely.
2. Make the frosting:
- Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Fold in whipped cream gently.
- Stir in drained crushed pineapple.
3. Assemble:
- Place one cake layer down.
- Spread a thick layer of frosting.
- Add the second layer and frost the top and sides.
