
Ingredients
Dough
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 cup warm milk
- 2 tbsp yogurt
- 2 tbsp oil or melted butter
Filling
- 1 to 1½ cups mozzarella cheese (or any melting cheese)
For brushing
- Melted butter
Instructions
- Make the dough
- Mix flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
- Add warm milk, yogurt, and oil.
- Knead into a soft dough.
- Cover and rest for 20–30 minutes.
- Prepare the flatbreads
- Divide dough into small balls.
- Roll one ball into a small circle.
- Add cheese in the center.
- Fold edges together and seal.
- Gently roll again into a thick flatbread.
- Cook
- Heat a skillet or pan over medium heat.
- Cook each bread 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown spots appear.
- Brush with melted butter while hot.
- Serve
- Best served warm while the cheese is melty.
