
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup oil (or melted butter)
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 180Β°C and grease a round cake pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat eggs and sugar until light and slightly fluffy.
- Add oil, milk, and vanilla. Mix well.
- Gradually add dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
- Fold in the chocolate chips (save a few for topping).
- Pour batter into the pan and sprinkle remaining chips on top.
- Bake for 35β45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Tips:
- Toss chocolate chips in a little flour before adding β prevents sinking
- Donβt overmix β keeps cake soft
- Let it cool before slicing for clean cuts
