
Ingredients:
- 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
- 4–6 slices ham (or turkey ham)
- 1 to 1½ cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or mix)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 1 tsp mustard (optional)
- Sesame seeds or herbs (optional)
👩🍳 Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Prepare pastry:
Roll out the puff pastry slightly on a flat surface. - Add filling:
- Spread a thin layer of mustard (optional)
- Place ham evenly over half the pastry
- Sprinkle cheese generously on top
- Fold & cut:
- Fold the pastry over to cover the filling
- Lightly press down
- Cut into strips (about 2–3 cm wide)
- Twist:
Twist each strip gently and place on baking tray. - Egg wash:
Brush with beaten egg for a golden finish. - Bake:
Bake for 15–20 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
