
🧾 Ingredients
- 3 eggs (separated)
- ½ cup (120g) plain yogurt
- 3 tbsp sugar (for yolks)
- 3 tbsp sugar (for egg whites)
- 2 tbsp milk
- 2 tbsp oil or melted butter
- ½ cup (60g) cake flour (or all-purpose flour sifted)
- 1 tsp lemon juice (or vinegar)
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
👩🍳 Instructions
- Preheat oven
160°C (320°F). Prepare a small cake pan and line it. - Mix yolk batter
In a bowl, whisk:- Egg yolks + sugar
- Add yogurt, milk, oil, vanilla
- Mix until smooth
- Sift in flour and mix gently
- Make meringue
- Beat egg whites with lemon juice
- Gradually add sugar
- Beat until soft peaks form
- Fold gently
- Add meringue in 3 parts into yolk batter
- Fold carefully to keep air inside
- Water bath baking (important!)
- Pour batter into pan
- Place pan in a larger tray with hot water
- Bake for 50–60 minutes
- Cool slowly
- Turn off oven, leave door slightly open for 10–15 minutes
- Remove and cool completely
