🧾 Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups (190g) all-purpose flour
  • 3 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 ¼ cups (300ml) milk
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp melted butter (or oil)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients
    In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  2. Mix wet ingredients
    In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla.
  3. Combine gently
    Pour wet into dry and mix lightly.
    👉 Batter should be slightly lumpy (don’t overmix!).
  4. Rest the batter (important!)
    Let it sit for 5–10 minutes for extra fluffiness.
  5. Cook pancakes
    • Heat a pan over medium heat
    • Lightly grease it
    • Pour ¼ cup batter per pancake
    • Cook until bubbles form (2–3 minutes), flip and cook another 1–2 minutes
