
π§Ύ Ingredients:
- 3 Β½ cups (440g) all-purpose flour
- 2 ΒΌ tsp (1 packet) instant yeast
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup (240ml) warm milk
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp butter (softened)
- 1 tbsp oil
For topping:
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Sesame seeds (optional)
π©βπ³ Instructions:
1. Activate & Mix
- In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5β10 minutes until foamy.
- Add egg, butter, oil, and salt. Mix well.
2. Knead Dough
- Gradually add flour and knead until smooth and elastic (8β10 minutes).
- Dough should be soft but not sticky.
3. First Rise
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1β1.5 hours until doubled.
4. Shape Buns
- Divide into 6β8 equal pieces.
- Roll into smooth balls and flatten slightly.
- Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
5. Second Rise
- Cover and let rise again for 30β45 minutes.
6. Bake
- Preheat oven to 180Β°C (350Β°F).
- Brush with egg wash and sprinkle sesame seeds.
- Bake for 15β18 minutes until golden brown.
