🧾 Ingredients

πŸ— Filling:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or diced)
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
  • Β½ small onion (chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ΒΌ cup milk or cream
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp thyme (optional)

  • 2 sheets puff pastry (store-bought, thawed)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

1️⃣ Make the Filling

  1. Melt butter in a pan, sautΓ© onion and garlic until soft.
  2. Add flour and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Slowly whisk in chicken broth and milk β†’ thick sauce forms.
  4. Stir in chicken, veggies, salt, pepper, and thyme.
  5. Cook until creamy, then let cool.

2️⃣ Assemble

  1. Preheat oven to 200Β°C (400Β°F).
  2. Roll out puff pastry and cut into squares or circles.
  3. Add filling to one side.
  4. Fold over and seal edges with a fork.

3️⃣ Bake

  1. Brush tops with egg wash ✨
  2. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and flaky.
