
📝 Ingredients:
- 4 bone-in pork chops
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 large onion (sliced)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup milk or heavy cream
- 1 tsp thyme (optional)
👨🍳 Instructions:
- Season the pork chops
Rub them with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. - Dredge in flour
Lightly coat each chop in flour (this helps create that rich gravy). - Sear the chops
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook pork chops 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown.
Remove and set aside. - Cook onions & garlic
In the same pan, melt butter.
Add onions and cook until soft and caramelized (about 5–7 minutes).
Add garlic and cook 1 minute. - Make the gravy
Sprinkle a little leftover flour into the pan and stir.
Slowly add chicken broth, then milk/cream.
Stir until smooth and thickened. - Simmer everything
Return pork chops to the skillet.
Cover and simmer on low heat for 20–25 minutes until tender.
