
π Ingredients:
- 500g beef liver (sliced)
- 2 large onions (sliced) π§
- 1 cup milk (for soaking)
- 1/2 cup flour
- 3 tbsp butter or oil
- Salt & black pepper (to taste)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
π¨βπ³ Instructions:
1. Soak the Liver:
- Place liver in milk for 20β30 minutes
π This removes bitterness and makes it tender.
2. Cook the Onions:
- Heat 1β2 tbsp butter in a pan.
- Add sliced onions and cook on medium heat.
- Stir until soft and caramelized (10β15 minutes).
- Remove and set aside.
3. Prepare the Liver:
- Remove liver from milk and pat dry.
- Season with salt, pepper, and spices.
- Lightly coat in flour.
4. Cook the Liver:
- In the same pan, add more butter/oil.
- Cook liver slices for 2β3 minutes per side
π Donβt overcook (it gets tough!).
5. Combine:
- Return onions to the pan.
- Cook together for 2β3 minutes so flavors blend.
