🍝 Garlic Shrimp Pasta

πŸ“ Ingredients:

  • 250–300g pasta (spaghetti or linguine)
  • 300g shrimp (peeled & deveined)
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4–5 garlic cloves (minced)
  • Β½ tsp chili flakes (optional 🌢️)
  • Juice of 1 lemon πŸ‹
  • Salt & black pepper
  • ΒΌ cup pasta water (important!)
  • Fresh parsley (chopped)
  • Grated Parmesan (optional)

πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³ Instructions:

  1. Cook pasta
    Boil in salted water until al dente. Save ΒΌ cup pasta water, then drain.
  2. Cook shrimp
    Season shrimp with salt & pepper.
    Heat olive oil + 1 tbsp butter, cook shrimp 1–2 minutes per side (don’t overcook!). Remove.
  3. Make garlic sauce
    In the same pan:
    • Add remaining butter
    • Add garlic + chili flakes
    • Cook until fragrant (30 sec)
  4. Combine
    • Add pasta + pasta water
    • Toss well
    • Add shrimp back
    • Squeeze lemon juice
  5. Finish
    Add parsley and Parmesan, toss, and serve hot πŸ”₯
