1 kg Homemade Fluffy Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 kg all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp instant yeast
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil or butter
  • 600–650 ml warm water or milk

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  2. Add warm water/milk and oil.
  3. Mix and knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Cover and let the dough rise for 1 hour or until doubled.
  5. Punch down and shape into loaves or rolls.
  6. Place in a greased pan and let rise again for 30 minutes.
  7. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 30–35 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool before slicing.
