
Ingredients
- 1 kg all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp instant yeast
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil or butter
- 600–650 ml warm water or milk
Instructions
- In a large bowl mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
- Add warm water/milk and oil.
- Mix and knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Cover and let the dough rise for 1 hour or until doubled.
- Punch down and shape into loaves or rolls.
- Place in a greased pan and let rise again for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 30–35 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool before slicing.
