Garlic Butter Seared Scallops

Ingredients

  • 1 lb sea scallops
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Pat scallops dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear scallops 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  4. Add butter and garlic to the pan.
  5. Spoon the garlic butter over the scallops for about 1 minute.
  6. Add lemon juice and sprinkle with parsley.
  7. Serve immediately.
