
📝 Ingredients:
- 4 bone-in pork chops
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 large onion (sliced)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 3–4 potatoes (peeled & sliced) 🥔
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup milk or heavy cream
- 1 tsp thyme (optional)
👨🍳 Instructions:
- Season & coat pork chops
Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
Lightly dredge in flour. - Sear the pork chops
Heat olive oil in a large skillet.
Brown chops on both sides (3–4 minutes each).
Remove and set aside. - Cook onions & garlic
In the same pan, melt butter.
Add onions and cook until soft and golden (5–7 minutes).
Add garlic and cook 1 minute. - Start the gravy
Add a little leftover flour and stir.
Slowly pour in chicken broth and milk/cream.
Stir until smooth and slightly thick. - Add potatoes
Layer sliced potatoes into the gravy. - Combine everything
Place pork chops on top of the potatoes.
Sprinkle thyme if using. - Simmer
Cover and cook on low heat for 30–40 minutes until:- Potatoes are tender
- Pork chops are juicy and fully cooked
