
π₯ Ingredients
For the turkey:
- 3β4 lbs turkey wings (split if whole)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Β½ tsp thyme
- Β½ tsp seasoning salt
For the gravy:
- 1 large onion (sliced)
- 1 green bell pepper (sliced)
- 2β3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 tbsp butter or oil
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Optional: mushrooms
π©βπ³ Instructions
1. Season & bake
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
- Pat turkey wings dry and rub with olive oil.
- Season well with all spices.
- Place in a baking dish and cover with foil.
- Bake for 1 hour.
2. Make the gravy
- In a pan, sautΓ© onions, bell peppers, and garlic in butter until soft.
- Sprinkle in flour and stir for 1β2 minutes (this thickens the gravy).
- Slowly whisk in chicken broth and water.
- Add Worcestershire sauce and let simmer until thick.
3. Smother the wings
- Remove turkey from oven and pour gravy over the wings.
- Cover again and bake for another 45 minutesβ1 hour, until tender.
