πŸ₯„ Ingredients

For the turkey:

  • 3–4 lbs turkey wings (split if whole)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Β½ tsp thyme
  • Β½ tsp seasoning salt

For the gravy:

  • 1 large onion (sliced)
  • 1 green bell pepper (sliced)
  • 2–3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp butter or oil
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Optional: mushrooms

1. Season & bake

  1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
  2. Pat turkey wings dry and rub with olive oil.
  3. Season well with all spices.
  4. Place in a baking dish and cover with foil.
  5. Bake for 1 hour.

2. Make the gravy

  1. In a pan, sautΓ© onions, bell peppers, and garlic in butter until soft.
  2. Sprinkle in flour and stir for 1–2 minutes (this thickens the gravy).
  3. Slowly whisk in chicken broth and water.
  4. Add Worcestershire sauce and let simmer until thick.

3. Smother the wings

  1. Remove turkey from oven and pour gravy over the wings.
  2. Cover again and bake for another 45 minutes–1 hour, until tender.
