
Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 1 lb thinly sliced beef steak
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1ยฝ cups shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375ยฐF / 190ยฐC.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook steak until browned.
- Add onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms; cook until soft. Season with salt and pepper.
- Roll out puff pastry on a baking sheet.
- Place the steak mixture in the center and top with cheese.
- Fold the pastry over the filling and seal the edges.
- Brush the top with beaten egg.
- Bake 25โ30 minutes until golden brown.
