Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup corn syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F / 175°C.
  2. Mix flour, powdered sugar, and butter to form a dough. Press into a baking dish.
  3. Bake crust 15 minutes until lightly golden.
  4. In a bowl whisk eggs, brown sugar, corn syrup, and vanilla.
  5. Stir in chopped pecans.
  6. Pour mixture over the baked crust.
  7. Bake 25–30 minutes until set.
  8. Cool completely and cut into squares.
