
Ingredients
- 12 mozzarella cheese sticks
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1½ cups breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Cut mozzarella sticks in half if desired and freeze 30 minutes.
- Place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another.
- Mix breadcrumbs with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Coat each cheese stick in flour, dip in egg, then roll in breadcrumbs.
- Repeat egg and breadcrumb coating for extra crispiness.
- Heat oil in a pan to 350°F / 175°C.
- Fry cheese sticks 1–2 minutes until golden.
- Drain on paper towels and serve warm with marinara sauce.
