
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 egg
- ⅓ cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Cinnamon Swirl
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2–3 tbsp milk
- ½ tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F / 175°C and grease a loaf pan.
- Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add buttermilk, egg, oil, and vanilla; mix until smooth.
- Pour half the batter into the pan.
- Mix brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle half on top.
- Add remaining batter and the rest of the cinnamon mixture; swirl with a knife.
- Bake 45–50 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over cooled bread.
