Easy Meat Lasagna

Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1½ cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F / 190°C.
  2. Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions; drain.
  3. In a skillet cook ground beef and onion until browned; drain fat.
  4. Add marinara sauce, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning; simmer 5 minutes.
  5. Mix ricotta cheese, egg, and half the Parmesan in a bowl.
  6. In a baking dish layer sauce, noodles, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella. Repeat layers.
  7. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
  8. Bake 30–35 minutes until hot and bubbly. Let rest 10 minutes before serving.
