
Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ยฝ tsp black pepper
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Wash and pat dry the chicken pieces.
- In a bowl mix chicken with buttermilk, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Marinate 30 minutes.
- Place flour in a separate bowl.
- Coat each chicken piece in flour, pressing well for a thick crust.
- Heat oil to 350ยฐF / 175ยฐC.
- Fry chicken 12โ15 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot and crispy.
