Baked Pizza Pockets

Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts (or pizza dough)
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup pepperoni slices (or cooked sausage)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F / 190°C.
  2. Roll out the dough and cut into circles.
  3. Place pizza sauce, cheese, and pepperoni on one half of each circle.
  4. Fold dough over to form a half-moon and seal edges with a fork.
  5. Brush tops with beaten egg and sprinkle Italian seasoning.
  6. Poke a few small holes with a fork.
  7. Bake 18–22 minutes until golden brown.
