Easy Homemade Crispy Pizza Rolls

Golden on the outside, gooey and savory on the inside—these homemade pizza rolls are WAY better than frozen!
🧾 Ingredients
🍞 Dough:
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp yeast
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 2 tbsp olive oil
(Shortcut: use store-bought pizza dough)
🍖 Filling:
- 250g ground beef
- 1/2 onion (finely chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt & pepper to taste
🧀 Cheese:
- 1–1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella
🧈 For Brushing:
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Make the Dough:
- Mix warm water, sugar, and yeast (let sit 5–10 min)
- Add flour, salt, olive oil → knead until smooth
- Cover and let rise for 1 hour
2️⃣ Cook the Filling:
- Sauté onion + garlic
- Add ground beef → cook until browned
- Stir in pizza sauce + seasoning
- Let cool slightly
3️⃣ Roll & Fill:
- Roll dough into a rectangle
- Spread meat mixture evenly
- Sprinkle mozzarella on top
4️⃣ Shape:
- Roll tightly like a log
- Slice into bite-sized rolls
5️⃣ Bake:
- Place on lined tray
- Brush with garlic butter
- Bake at 190°C for 18–22 minutes until golden
