
🧾 Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups (190g) all-purpose flour
- 3 ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp sugar
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 ¼ cups (300ml) milk
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp melted butter (or oil)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
👩🍳 Instructions
- Mix dry ingredients
In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. - Mix wet ingredients
In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla. - Combine gently
Pour wet into dry and mix lightly.
👉 Batter should be slightly lumpy (don’t overmix!). - Rest the batter (important!)
Let it sit for 5–10 minutes for extra fluffiness. - Cook pancakes
- Heat a pan over medium heat
- Lightly grease it
- Pour ¼ cup batter per pancake
- Cook until bubbles form (2–3 minutes), flip and cook another 1–2 minutes
