- 4 bone-in pork chops
- Salt & black pepper (to taste)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
- 1 medium onion (sliced)
- 3–4 potatoes (peeled & sliced thin)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream (or milk for lighter version)
- 1 tbsp flour (optional, for thicker sauce)
- 1 tsp paprika
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
👨🍳 Instructions
1. Season & Sear
- Season pork chops with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear pork chops 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Remove and set aside.
2. Cook Onions & Garlic
- In the same pan, sauté onions until soft.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
3. Make the Gravy
- Sprinkle flour (if using) and stir for 1 minute.
- Slowly pour in chicken broth and cream, stirring to combine.
- Let it simmer until slightly thickened.
4. Add Potatoes & Pork
- Layer sliced potatoes into the skillet.
- Place pork chops on top.
- Spoon gravy over everything.
5. Simmer
- Cover and cook on low heat for 25–30 minutes, or until:
- Potatoes are tender
- Pork is fully cooked
6. Serve
- Garnish with fresh parsley.
- Serve hot with bread or vegetables.
