🥘 Ingredients:

🧁 Cake:

  • 1¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1¾ cups sugar
  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1½ tsp baking powder
  • 1½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup hot coffee (or hot water)

🍫 Chocolate Frosting:

  • ½ cup butter (softened)
  • ⅔ cup cocoa powder
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • ⅓ cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

👨‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Make the Cake:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour 2 round pans.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla. Beat until smooth.
  4. Stir in hot coffee (this makes it extra moist and enhances chocolate flavor!).
  5. Pour batter into pans.
  6. Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let cakes cool completely.

2. Make the Frosting:

  1. Beat butter until creamy.
  2. Add cocoa powder and mix well.
  3. Gradually add powdered sugar and milk, alternating.
  4. Add vanilla and beat until fluffy and smooth.

3. Assemble:

  1. Place one cake layer, spread frosting on top.
  2. Add second layer and frost the top and sides.
  3. Slice and enjoy 😍

🔥 Tips for Perfect Moist Cake:

  • Don’t skip the hot coffee ☕ (no coffee taste, just richer chocolate!)
  • Don’t overbake—check at 30 minutes
  • Let cake cool fully before frosting
