- 1 lb ground beef π₯©
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion (chopped)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 cups elbow macaroni (uncooked)
- 1 can (400g) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (400g) tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese π§ (optional)
π¨βπ³ Instructions:
- Cook the beef
Heat oil in a large pot.
Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat. - Add onions & garlic
Cook for 3β4 minutes until soft and fragrant. - Build the sauce
Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, and beef broth.
Add salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning. - Add pasta
Stir in uncooked macaroni. - Simmer
Cover and cook on low for 15β20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender. - Add cheese (optional)
Stir in cheddar until melted and creamy.
